Some
Money I Found
When I was
going out of a cinema, one evening, I found a purse. There was some money in
it. The owner’s identity card was also in it.
I took the
purse home, thinking that I would keep the money myself. Then I thought it
would be dishonest to do so. I decided to return the purse to its owner.
I filed a
police report in the nearest police station. Police officer was able to contact
the owner based on the information from the identity card. The owner soon came
to police station to collect the purse.
The owner of
the purse was a beautiful lady. She was pleased to meet me. When I returned the
purse to her, she thanked me for being so honest.
I was pleased
with myself. I had not stolen her money.
